PERFECTO MUNDO® Orange Azalea

Light: Has the healthiest foliage and flowers most prolifically in sites with part sun – all day dappled light or morning sun with afternoon shade. Soil: Perfecto Mundo Orange azalea prefers acidic soils that stay evenly moist, but with good drainage. Water: Likes to be kept on the moist side, but not soggy. Fertilizing: Like all azaleas, Perfecto Mundo Orange benefits from an application of fertilizer to the soil surface every season. A newly planted azalea doesn’t require fertilizing in its first season, as the soil mix contains plenty of fertilizer. Starting the second year, apply an all-purpose flowering shrub fertilizer in late winter/early spring when the soil becomes workable, another after the spring bloom, and one more in late May/early June. Pruning: Pruning isn’t necessary, but if you’d like to increase the abundance of rebloom you can trim it just after its big spring bloom. This encourages new growth, which will bloom more prolifically. Other: Perfecto Mundo Orange azalea has shown improved lacebug resistance.
