Light: Full (6 hrs/day) to part (4-6 hrs/day) sun.Soil: Any well-drained soil will do. Clematis prefer a slightly acidic to slightly alkaline soil.Water: Average water needs. Avoid wet conditions.Fertilizing: Little to none required. Excessive fertilizer can harm plants and should be avoided.Pruning: Pink Mink clematis flowers on both old and new wood. Cut it back to 18-24″ above the soil every spring. This ensures that the vine will be covered in flowers instead of just sporting a few at the top.
