Light: Needs full sun to thrive. Will not grow robustly in anything less than six hours of direct exposure to the sun.Soil: Requires well-draining soil and will even thrive in rocky areas. Water: Does not like regular water and is happily drought tolerant once it’s established.Fertilizing: Not necessary.Pruning: Periodic rejuvenation pruning is recommended to provide the most floriferous display. New growth bears the most flowers, while old growth is more sparse. If you’d like to shape the plant, do so after it flowers in the springtime. Other: This plant is not recommended for the Northwest, as it can grow too prolifically.
