An extraordinarily easy tree to fit into a garden plan. With a narrow footprint, only 3-3.5′ wide, it tucks perfectly into borders. It generally grows 15 or so feet tall, which is enough to make a statement, but not so much that it looks out of scale next to a single-story home. Its branches grow very closely together, giving the plant a dense exclamation point look even from a hundred feet away! When planted as a hedge, it lights up the garden in fall with extremely bright yellow foliage. If you’ve heard of stinky ginkgos, this isn’t one of them. It hasn’t been observed to flower or produce fruit – an observation that has remained true all the way back to 1996. It may never have been easier to fit some fall color into a spaceSkinny Fit ginkgo is part of the Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Trees program. Why grow Skinny Fit ginkgo?Dramatic foliageSmall footprintVery tolerant of different soil types
